NORTHERN JAWS, the Sharks of Canada
SUMMARY
This traveling exhibition aims to inform and make the Canadian public aware of the principal species of sharks that are found in our oceans. It contains recent scientific information on: the evolution of the species, anatomy, behaviour, and shark distribution in our waters. This exhibition also explains how the cartilage of shark can help to treat patients of cancer. Many myths pertaining to this animal is clarified in the course of the exhibition. Visitors are also able to observe video extracts and previously unseen photographs of sharks. They can also play with interactive modules in the course of their visit.
