WINGS OVER THE ATLANTIC
SUMMARY
Discover the strange life of sea birds. How can they live almost ten months out of twelve at sea? How did they adapt to their tough environment? Discover the tricks they developed in order to survive. Did you know that they only come on shore to reproduce? An important part of the exhibition is devoted to understanding their flying techniques, their beaks’ shapes, their colours, their different kinds of feathers. The visitor will learn that the sea birds were once savagely hunted, but today, the law protects them all. This exhibition was made in 1998 for a French museum. But we found the subject so interesting that we decided to built a second version of the exhibition. The only difference is that we adapted the texts for the Canadian reality.
